Scrolls vs Elder Scrolls
What do you do when in a legal battle with Bethesda over your in-development project titled Scrolls (Bethesda owns the Elder Scrolls series)? Challenge them to a Quake match. Then you realize how ridiculous that was and change your mind. At least if you’re Minecraft’s Markus “Notch” Persson.
Battlefield 3 does not have an in-game browser, but the console version does. I don’t know if it’s EA or Dice making these decisions, but I’m willing to bet it’s all EA. EA is a corporate prick at best. I really have to wonder if EA purposefully tries to piss off it’s “fans”.

It looks like spotting in Battlefield 3 has been improved over it’s predecessors.
Star Wars: The Old Republic
EA will limit distribution of Star Wars: The Old Republic on launch day. If you intend on playing on launch day you might want to pre-order as soon as possible. I don’t agree that this is the right decision. It will only serve to anger more players. You don’t prevent launch day server congestion by limiting sales. You prepare. You ready adequate servers.
